High performance high quality VOCs Catalyst
VOC Catalyst Introduction:
VOC noble metal catalyst has the characteristics of high activity at low temperature and low ignition temperature, and its resistance to S is also stronger than that of metal oxide catalyst. The activities of Pt and Pd on different reactants are different, and Pd is superior to Pt in the oxidation of CO, CH4 and olefins; For aromatics oxidation, the two are equivalent; For the oxidation of straight chain alkanes above C3, Pt is better than Pd. The order of activity of noble metal catalysts for VOC catalytic oxidation is ethanol>acetaldehyde>aromatic>ketone>acetate>halohydrocarbon>alkane.

With the extension of time, the activity of the catalyst will gradually decline until it becomes inactive.
There are three main types of catalyst deactivation:
(1) The catalyst is completely deactivated. The toxicants that inactivate the catalyst include fast acting toxicants and slow acting toxicants. The fast acting poisons mainly include P, As, etc., while the slow acting poisons include Pb, zn, etc. Normally, the deactivation of catalyst is due to the differentiation or fusion of poison and active group into alloy. For fast acting poisons, even if there is only a small amount, the catalyst can be rapidly deactivated;
(2) Inhibiting catalytic reaction. Halogen and sulfur compounds are easy to combine with the active center, but this combination is relatively loose, reversible and temporary. When such substances in the exhaust gas are removed, the catalyst activity can be restored;
(3) Deposition covers the active center. The presence of unsaturated compounds leads to carbon deposition. In addition, ceramic dust, iron oxides and other particles clog the active center, thus affecting the adsorption and desorption capacity of the catalyst, leading to a decline in catalyst activity.
The following corresponding measures can be taken to prevent catalyst activity degradation:
(1) Properly control the reaction conditions according to the operating procedures;
(2) When the catalyst surface is charred, the combustion temperature is increased by blowing in fresh air to burn off the surface charring;
(3) Pretreatment of waste gas to remove poison and prevent catalyst poisoning;
(4) The preparation process of the catalyst was improved to improve the heat resistance and toxicity resistance of the catalyst.
